The next European Central Bank (ECB) Meeting is due be held on Thursday, July 22 2021. The latest ECB Interest Rate Decision will be announced by the Governing Council at 8.45am Eastern Time.

ECB Interest Rate Decision is closely watched which can potentially have a wide-ranging impact on the equity, forex and commodity markets.

Following the ECB Interest Rate Decision, we expect certain markets to experience unusually high levels of volatility which will increase the risk of positions held on those underlying instruments and indices. Please note changes in liquidity may result in wider spread, larger slippage and order rejection. Your position values will be marked-to-market based on the last traded price. Please take extra care to monitor your exposure and ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to cover margin requirements in order to avoid forced liquidation.
